PANJIM: Coding and Robotics Education in Schools Scheme (CARES) organised a 2-days Summer Bootcamp on May 21 and 22, that focused on “Junior Entrepreneur: Idea to Impact.”

This immersive experience provided students with hands-on learning opportunities to explore the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, from generating innovative ideas to understanding how to make a positive impact with their ventures.

Through interactive sessions and practical activities, students gained valuable insights into the entrepreneurial process, honing their problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills along the way. By fostering an entrepreneurial mindset at a young age, CARES aims to empower students to become future leaders and change-makers in their communities, a press release said.

Learning about entrepreneurship at an early age can provide numerous benefits for students. It fosters critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills as they learn to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions. Early exposure to entrepreneurship also cultivates a mindset of resilience and adaptability, teaching students to embrace challenges and learn from failures.

The summer Boot Camp was conducted across Goa in 24 schools, with each school hosting two batches per day, engaging more than 700 enthusiastic participants in this immersive learning experience. The Bootcamp provided an excellent opportunity for students to dive into coding and design thinking, offering hands-on activities and interactive sessions.

Students were introduced to the fundamentals of coding and robotics, as well as the principles of design thinking, which encouraged them to think creatively and solve problems innovatively. The positive response and active participation from the students highlighted the success of the camp.
