CCTVs at Margao municipality building to be functional from Friday

MARGAO: The work pertaining to installation of the 32 CCTV at Margao Municipal Council (MMC) cameras is almost completed. The footage will be monitored from the chamber of the Chairperson. 

Lyndon Pereira, Chairperson said the inauguration of the same will be held on Friday. There are also allegations that several staff of the civic body are skipping their duties, despite signing the muster roll. They are reportedly found to be leaving the offices before the time.

"We want to streamline the system and also plan to bring discipline amongst the staff,” said Lyndon.
