
PANJIM: The Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to Class XI Science and Diploma courses will be held on July 31 in offline mode.
The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) will conduct the exams for over 7,100 students. The students will answer the test from their respective schools in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format.
Board chairman Bhagirath Shetye said that the CET will be conducted on July 31 in offline mode.
Nearly 6,800 Goa Board students and another 370 students from other school Boards have registered for the CET. Shetye said that a detailed notification will follow shortly.
Based on the CET results, the higher secondary schools will hold admissions to Class XI science and diploma course. Any admissions without answering CET would be declared invalid.
A record of 23,900 students had cleared Class X this year based on the internal assessment done by the schools
