PANJIM: A day after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) claimed that they have the capability to fulfill late Manohar Parrikar’s vision for Goa, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Monday said that “only BJP can and no one else”.

Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia on Sunday claimed that his party has the capability of fulfilling Parrikar’s vision for Goa while appealing to all those who believe in Parrikar’s ideology and vision, to join AAP.

The AAP leader had also accused the current BJP-led government of burying the vision of development that was nurtured by Parrikar, post his death.

“Do you think we have buried Parrikar’s vision? Answer me. We have not and we will not,” the Chief Minister said responding to media questions. “Only we can take Parrikar’s vision ahead. And we are working in that direction. Nobody else will be able to do it. It’s only BJP,” he added.

Sawant also said that they appeal to all those who believe in BJP, to join the party in large numbers.

While addressing party workers in Panjim on Sunday, Sisodia had also claimed that those who are in BJP and believed in Parrikar’s ideology are “insulted”, “humiliated” and “sidelined” by the BJP.
