QUEPEM: With the rise in COVID cases, the Borimol Primary Health Centre witnessed a huge gathering for COVID testing, on Tuesday.
The result in crowding was due the fact that people from the municipality area including Tilamol gathered at the health centre. This situation puts not only the people at risk but also the health workers and staff who conduct the tests.
“There are only two staff members who are available for COVID testing as result of which there is a long queue for testing,” said Asma Carvalho, who brought one of her relatives for testing.
Xeldem Panchayat member Johanna Fernandes said, “It is not only the Borimol Health Centre that is facing the issue but the also the community health centre at Cacora-Curchorem.”
