MAPUSA: Claude Boldic (59), a Canadian, has been admitted to a shelter home run for housing the homeless persons during the lockdown.

Boldic was staying in a shack at Candolim since the guest house at Candolim was shut down out on March 18. Boldic had no money to find shelter. As such, he was taking shelter in shacks at Candolim.

On Sunday, he approached the Calangute police, who got in touch with Deputy Collector Akshay Potekar and got him admitted at the Shelter Home, Calangute. He is scheduled to fly back on May 4.
