Candlelight marches held to condemn terrorist attack on CRPF personnel

MARGAO:  Panjim residents and market vendors held a candlelight march, on Saturday night, to condemn the terrorist attack on CRPF jawans in Pulwama.

And ind South Goa, the local unit of the Congress party led by its Minority Cell President Urfan Mulla held a candlelight procession to condemn the terrorist attack on CRPF jawans in Pulwama district ofKashmir.

Mulla said that Narendra Modi had to take steps to avenge the killings of the Indian soldiers. “If needed, we should enter Pakistan and bring Hafiz Sayeed, the mastermind of LeT back and hang him. We are not afraid of terrorists. The Congress party will stand with the nation and the Central government,” he said

The candle light vigil began in front of the municipality and wound up at Lohia Maidan.

Meanwhile, youth from all walks of life from Curchorem and surrounding areas held a candlelight procession starting from the Curchorem KTC bus stop to Ambedkar circle after wending its way through Curchorem market. The protesters shouted slogan against Pakistan and displayed placards showing solidarity with the security forces and condemning the terror attack on CRPF personnel in Pulwama district of Kashmir.
