MARGAO: The Quepem Police have filed a charge sheet before the Session Judge at Margao against two persons accused of raping a girl from Assam.
The charge sheet has been filed against 32-year-old Shambunath Singh from Delhi and 63-year-old Sudhakar Naik from Sanvordem, who are in judicial custody.
It may be recalled that the victim was brought to Quepem on the pretext of providing her a job. However, both the accused raped the victim.
The police team headed by PI Deepak Pedneker along with Lady Police Sub Inspector Veronica Coutinho and staff arrested the duo.
