SANGUEM While cleanliness seems to be the key slogan these days all over the country, especially with the Swatch Bharat Abhiyan, some places seem to have done nothing to improve cleanliness around them, some spots in Sanguem seems to be one of those places.

Various spots have become a public nuisance with people paying no heed to cleanliness, including the backyard of Shrison Plaza building, which has literally turned into a garbage dumping area with many people seen openly urinating in the open despite being considered an offence.

The health authorities in the area have turned a Nelson's eye to the situation with the citizen's fearing that the area was turning into a breeding ground for mosquitoes.

Shrison Plaza building president informed that he had complained to the authorities of the accumulating garbage in the open are behind the building several times, but the authorities had failed to show any interest or take action on the matter.
