It is quite common to see convex mirrors placed along the road shoulder on the highway. These mirrors serve a specific purpose. They help drivers navigate blind spots successfully. They are useful when drivers have minimum visibility at turns and are useful to observe roads which are out of line of sight.
Despite its use in preventing accidents at blind turns, many of such convex mirrors in the state are in a dilapidated condition. They are either tilted and serve no purpose or the mirror does not reflect anything due its pathetic condition.
Given the significance of such convex mirrors they need to be repaired by the authorities concerned.
