Road medians and road-dividers in the cities have ornamental plants grown in them. These plants are necessary as they add to the greenery and enhance the beauty of the place. However many a times it is observed that the plants have grown very high in size. As the height is not maintained, plants along the road-median can obstruct the view of the road for the pedestrians, specially, of little children trying to cross the road. This can prove dangerous. These plants also obstruct the view of the motorists at the turns. It is necessary that these plants are trimmed on a regular basis so that they grow only to a desirable height. The monsoon season has come to an end and the concerned authorities need to trim the plants.
