The Kulem Railway Station is in a pathetic and sorry state. A number of foreign as well as domestic tourists frequent this station on their way to the Dudhsagar waterfalls.
The platform is slippery and this could result in falls and senior citizens, young, school, college students as well as women could fall victims to this condition.
To add to this, the last train arrives in Kulem at 7.15 pm and there are only two tubelights illuminating the footbridge as miscreants could take advantage of this and target the passengers.
Besides, only 8 tubelights illuminate the station.
Moreover, there is no proper road to get to the main station and the residents are forced to use the footbridge. I request you act in this matter and ensure proper illumination of the area before a crime or an accident takes place.
