Pits left open, discarded vehicles security hazard at Margao Railway Station

One sees quite a few discarded vehicles at Margao Railway Station, which have been literally gathering dust for years. Besides, being aesthetic sores, this junk is a huge security hazard, given the rising crime graph in Goa. Anti social elements/ terrorists may plant explosive devices in these vehicles and remotely trigger them causing immense harm as railway stations are very high footfall areas. 

I request the police/municipal authorities to dispose off these vehicles to prevent any untoward incidents in future, there have been many such tragic examples in the past.

Another issue affects the railway station is that a few pits have been dug in the parking area for laying of electrical cables and services over the past three months. But neither has the work been completed nor have the pits been filled up. 

People not infrequently stumble into these pits during the night, also these pits have become dumping grounds for trash by anti-social elements. 

I request the concerned authorities to complete the pending works and restore the parking hard surface.
