Power Department should be sued

BRICS brought about a lot of improvement in the power distribution lines along the Colva-Cavellossim MDR road but the Power lines on internal roads of the villages seem to be begging for attention from the Power department, the local bodies and the MLA.

Electric poles and their power conductors camouflaged by tree branches, shrubs and creepers over the years due to lack of attention.

Coastal villages of Benaulim are suffering the brunt of weather, especially in the monsoons, need underground cabling to ensure safe domestic power supply to their homes a reality. Until then the Power department should be sued by the public for any damages which might occur due to their disastrous power distribution system in place.
