The matter regarding three non-functional streetlight fixtures along the Adpai jetty in Ponda was published on Citizen Herald dated 6 June. Taking cognizance of this important matter, the electricity department repaired the said fixtures, thereby providing relief to public at large. Motorists and pedestrians would now receive proper illumination along the jetty. I am thankful to the electricity department for assuring favourable action. Also thanks to the ‘Citizen Herald’ team for highlighting this important matter.
