MARGAO: Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai on Tuesday said the Sanguem MLA owes a clarification to the statement of Chief Minister claiming that the IIT project moved out of Sanguem as the MLA there couldn’t do the “setting”.
Sanguem MLA Prasad Gaonkar, has said that the allegations against him by the Chief Minister, BJP office bearers are baseless and that he will expose the facts of this government.
Goa Forward Party (GFP) President Vijai said that the statement of Chief Minister is not just an insult to the MLA who is supporting the present BJP Government but also of those voters who have got Sanguem MLA elected.
"His future course of action in this matter will tell whether the Sanguem MLA is sitting or sleeping. If he is sleeping there is a need from Sanguem people to wake him up," said Vijai.
"The statement of Chief Minister certifies the fact that this entire government is of persons doing ‘setting’. Double tracking, power line or Mhadei River water diversion issue, this government and the ones supporting them is indulged in ‘setting’ and have put Goa on a fast track sale," Vijai said.
Sanguem MLA said that on Wednesday he will expose all the wrongdoings of the BJP government while calling all the allegations against him as baseless.
