MARGAO: Pledging her unwavering commitment to fostering the holistic development of all, irrespective of differences, South Goa BJP candidate Pallavi Dempo on Sunday vowed to address the concerns of all citizens, including those from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) community, upon winning the elections.
Addressing a gathering in Borda, she emphasised that significant progress has been achieved across the nation and in Goa under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Highlighting Prime Minister’s deep regard for women, Pallavi said that Modi has initiated numerous schemes aimed at fostering women's participation across various sectors and emphasized that women's empowerment remains a pivotal focus of the BJP government, both at the Central and state levels.
Underscoring her dedication to serve the people, she informed the gathering about her extensive involvement in the fields of education and sports over the past several decades.
Margao MLA Digambar Kamat said that the BJP is committed to impartially implementing development projects and providing benefits to all communities without discrimination.
Claiming that the ST community is among the most honest, he said that the BJP leaders have consistently maintained close relationship with each community.
Former MLA Damu Naik, Councillor Camilo Barretto and others also spoke.
