Cops solve theft case in 3 hours

PANJIM: Old Goa Police solved a theft case within three hours on Tuesday morning.

PANJIM: Old Goa Police solved a theft case within three hours on Tuesday morning. 

Old Goa Police Inspector Ashish Shirodkar said a theft was reported at the Police Station at 4 am that gold ornaments and other articles have been stolen from a bungalow on Kadamba plateau. 

Following the complaint the police team swung into action and after three hours of extensive search nabbed Laxman Hosmani and his mother Shobha at their residence in Chimbel. 

Police recovered all the gold ornaments worth Rs 10 lakh. Police said that both accused have bene taken into police custody and charged under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. 

The team comprised of LPSI Pragati Malik, PSI Ajay Dhuri, PSI Sahil Warang,PC Shanu Raut, PC Aniket and LPC Shrilija Naik under the supervision of Shirodkar.
