Curti Animal Husbandry guest house  to be opened in this month

PONDA: Finally, the Animal Husbandry Guest House Building at Curti, for which the foundation stone was laid in September 2011 by then Animal Husbandry Minister Ravi Naik, is almost near completion and ready for inauguration after nine year of its inception.

The building structure is ground plus two floors and is constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 4.80 crore.

Ponda MLA Ravi Naik said almost all the work of the guest house building is completed and will be inaugurated in the month of January itself after completing some minor works.

Naik, who was instrumental for the project said, “The Animal Husbandry guest house is constructed with various aims. It will be used for multipurpose. When government wants to accommodate the guests arriving in State it needs to spend lot of money on their accommodation at five start hotels. This money would be saved now as already VIP suites are there in this guest house. This building can be also used as one office when third district becomes a reality.” 

He said, “The third district is already proposed by the government at Ponda. Even Chief Minister can come and hold meetings with the officials or if he wants to address the grievances of the people.”

The guest house comprises of 21 rooms, two dormitories, three executive suite, three VIP suite, nine double bedroom, six single bed room. Besides this, there is one conference room with 50 people capacity and another with 100 people capacity. There is also a canteen facility.
