PANJIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant stated that in the last 10 years, Goa has seen infrastructure development that has not been done under any previous government.
“Not a single major road was built in Goa 10 years ago. Another Rs 7,000 crore will be spent on infrastructure in Goa in the coming financial year. There will be a flyover from Dabolim to Verna Junction at a cost of Rs 1,500 crore. Therefore, people should realise that Dabolim international airport will not be closed,” said the Chief Minister.
“The government thinks about the environment along with development, which is why it has been built without acquiring too much land for the Mopa link road. The six-lane link road will reduce the time to reach the Manohar International Airport and give big boost to tourism and the economy. This will also strengthen Goa's economy,” said Sawant.
