PONDA: Lavoo Mamledar, who was expelled by MGP on Saturday, has been offered tickets by several political parties to contest from Shiroda Constituency. Lavoo said he received several phone calls not only from his supporters from all over Goa but also from various political parties who are willing to field Lavoo in Shiroda Constituency against Deepak Dhavalikar.

The Bhandari Samaj was the first which raised their voice against his removal from the MG Party. He said he did not lose anything after his suspension. Even his political rival Ravi Naik realised that Lavoo and his political rivalry is due to the Dhavalikar brothers.

Lavoo Mamledar, however, said that he would be working for the growth of MG Party all across Goa.

Meanwhile there were strong reactions against MG Party from Bahujan community in Ponda, Marcaim and Shiroda Constituency.

It may be recalled that Lavoo Mamledar, who was police official was known for his fearless attitude when he became MGP MLA in 2012 and was raising his voice against the Government for doing injustice to Ponda Constituency. Sources say that Lavoo was a respectable politician in Ponda after former Chief Minister and Ponda MLA Ravi Naik.
