Speaking to media persons, a farmer Caitan D’Mello said that more than one thousand farmers of Dhado are facing problems as their fields are flooded with water, thereby creating trouble for them when it comes to cultivating.

He said that the farmers in the past had approached Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and the Revenue Department for relief. “However, our plea remained unheard,” he added.

D’mello said that due to the current pandemic, our livelihood is affected, and farming is the only source of income left now.
