MARGAO: Former Councillor of Margao Municipal Council and Founder Member of Madgaum Urban Bank Babu Ramakant Desai aged 96 passed away after brief illness today.
He had been the grandfather of noted Marathi singer Chaitanya Kulkarni. He was also a councilor of Margao Municipal Council and also an active social worker.
