MARGAO: In a request letter to the Superintendent of Police, South Goa, the Higher Secondary Principals' Forum (HSPF) has pleaded for stern action against the culprits for setting on fire the car of Trevor Vaz Barreto, Principal of Mount Mary's Higher Secondary School, Chinchinim.
Forum President Damodar Panchwadkar and executive members Walter Cabral and Bruno Carvalho met the SP. The Forum also alleged that the police force has taken the matter for granted and till date, no stern action has been taken against the culprits involved in the heinous act.
“It is the humble request of the Forum that the police force should take this incident very seriously which is intentionally planned by the miscreants, who are a nuisance to the society so as to avoid such incidents in future,” said the Principals while resonating the request of Trevor Barreto to hand over the case to Crime Branch. SP Pankaj Kumar Gupta, IPS, assured the principals that the persons responsible for the act are brought to book.
