PANJIM: Old Goa police have arrested four persons including a police constable in a case of threatening at knife point.

Mohammad Haldwale, a resident of Indiranagar in Chimbel, has complained that when he had gone to a garage at Chimbel on his motorcycle the accused Mustafa, Afzal, Karpuswamy and Arshad Khan threatened him with knife and hurled abuses at him and said that they would kill him. The complainant somehow managed to run away and called police and was rescued and brought at police station.

One of the accused Arshad Khan is a police constable and currently attached to Panjim Police Station.

Sources said that the complainant is in relationship with the sister of accused Arshad Khan due to which he threatened Haldwale. All four accused have been lodged in police lock up.
