GCET rescheduled for July 27-28

Following cancellation of Class XII board examination, the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2021, for admission to professional degree courses has now been scheduled on July 27-28, 2021.

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), however, said that the dates shall be confirmed at least ten days prior to the exam.

DTE said that GCET, earlier scheduled on June 15-16 has been deferred to July 27-28. Students will be tested in physics and chemistry and mathematics paper. 

GCET is conducted to screen aspirants to the Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) courses.

DTE said that the procedure and schedule of acceptance of application forms will be notified by June 20. “Schedule of subsequent activities related to admission, shall be notified, after conduct of GCET,” DTE said. 

Students seeking admissions to MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeopathy), BAMS (Ayurveda), Allied Health Sciences (Paramedical), BSc in Nursing and BVSc and AH courses are required to appear and qualify at NEET UG-2021(National Entrance Cum Eligibility Test).
