VASCO: Goa Shipyard Limited provided 12 oxygen concentrators to GMC and 4 oxygen concentrators to South Goa District Hospital. The onsite oxygen generating plant may be available within a month's time says GSL sources.
When contacted, Nikhil Wagh, GSL PRO, confirmed the development and said that out of 40, GSL has given 16 oxygen concentrators. 12 oxygen concentrators have been given to Goa Medical College hospital and 4 oxygen concentrators were given to South Goa District Hospital.
Wagh further said “The onsite oxygen generating plant which GSL was planning to give, its order has been placed and it might take a month's time to get it" he added.
The proposed oxygen plant is expected to generate medical oxygen at 960 litres per minute and will be setup within a month by GSL.
