PANJIM: Lourdes Conceicao Lobo, from Camurlim, who was considered to be Goa's oldest person died on November 3 at the age of 113.
She was born on December 8, 1908 and for years, her birthdays were a cause of celebration.
There were tributes pouring in for the late Lobo on Thursday along with condolence messages to her bereaved family. She was adored and well respected by all.
“Mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and pride of Camurlim. What a legacy she leaves: One of faith, love, service, and utmost dedication to God and family. Her memory will forever be a blessing,” read a post by her grandson Nigel Britto, who added that she had lived a long and cherished life.
