MARGAO: Congress’s Mormumugao candidate Sankal Amonkar filed a police complaint at the Mormugao Police Station on Sunday against the Hindi news channel editor, AAP’s Goa leader Amit Palekar and BJP Goa State president Sadanand Shet Tanavade over the alleged fake news sting operation video which was circulated on social media on Saturday during the ‘silence period of election’. In his complaint, Amonkar said refuted the allegations that the video depicts that he will shift to BJP once elected as well the allegations of bribery in the video. His complaint further alleges that the video has been made to defame him and gain more target TRP.
