PANJIM: The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) has directed South Goa District Collector and the Secretary for Art and Culture to take necessary action into the alleged poll violation at Ravindra Bhavan- Margao by the Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, as complaint by the Goa Forward Party (GFP).
The GFP had on Wednesday filed a complaint with CEO alleging code violation by the Chief Minister and BJP general secretary Damodar Naik by organizing felicitation programme on January 12 at Ravindra Bhavan.
Taking cognizance of the complaint, Deputy CEO Sangeeta Naik has asked South District Election Officer cum Collector and Secretary Art and Culture to look into the incident and take necessary action. They are also directed to submit the compliance report.
