PANJIM: In view of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Goa University, while revising its Academic Calendar, has announced that the new term 2021-22 for the undergraduate (UG) general education programme will commence from September 1 for its affiliated colleges, as against earlier date of August 10.
In a revised circular issued, the Goa University Goa UG general education programme’s academic year 2020-2021 will end on August 14, 2021 with end of final term exam.
The final term examination for the academic year 2020-21 for BCom, BA, BSc and BEd, BSc including Home Science will commence from July 9 and end on August 14.
The summer vacations are divided in two parts from May 11 to June 7 and from August 15 to 31.
As per the earlier schedule, the second term exams were supposed to be held from June 7 to July 17, 2021. The summer vacation was between July 3 and August 9.
The examination of final year is scheduled from July 1 via an offline mode while the semester exams are from June 21 in online format for students of Goa University campus.
