PANJIM: The Indian Meteorological Centre (Goa) has alerted about light rains across Goa for at least four days starting from Sunday, March 21.
In its bulletin, the centre also stated that there is possibility of slight increase in day time maximum temperature from present values over Goa by around 1 degree on March 24 and 25.
“With a trough running from coastal Karnataka to central Maharashtra, across Goa at 1.5 km height above mean sea level. As earlier forecasted, light rain/thunderstorms accompanied with lightning are very likely at isolated places over Goa for 3-4 days starting from March 21,” it said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures across Goa have been over 34 degree Celsius and 26 degree Celsius respectively.
