PANJIM: In a freak accident in the wee hours on Thursday, a four wheeler rammed into 11 two-wheelers parked on the 18th June Road in Panjim.

According to police sources, one Gopinath Bihari was driving a four-wheeler through 18th June Road at around 5 am on Thursday; and on seeing a car coming from the opposite direction, he lost control of his vehicle and rammed into 11 two-wheelers parked by the roadside below Susheela Building, before screeching to a halt.

Bihari, 30, was driving the vehicle owned by Prakash Madgaonkar. Most of the damaged vehicles were rent-a-bikes. The accused driver was arrested for rash driving.
