PANJIM: Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) will announce the Class XII exam results on June 26 at 5pm. This was announced by Goa Board chairman Ramakrishna Samant.
Around 18,121 students, that include 9,317 girls and 8,804 boys, had answered the examinations which were held in February-March and partially in May, due to the COVID pandemic.
The higher secondary school certificate (HSSC) exams had begun from February 26. In view of COVID outbreak and lockdown, three papers had to be rescheduled to May.
The result sheets would be mailed to the concerned schools on June 29 and the marksheets will be available in schools for students from July 7. The list of websites to locate the HSSC results would be made available on Goa Board website.
As many as 5,582 students from the commerce stream had appeared for the exams, while 5,107 students answered from science stream and another 4,519 in arts, while 2,193 students answered vocational papers.
Last year 16,952 candidates had registered for the Class XII exams and the passing percentage was 89.59 percent.
