Israeli arrested for possessing drugs
PANJIM: Crime Branch on Friday evening arrested Israeli national Ben Shoshan Yosef (57), who is locally known as Woods, following some narcotics substance being found is in his possession.
PANJIM: Crime Branch on Friday evening arrested Israeli national Ben Shoshan Yosef (57), who is locally known as Woods, following some narcotics substance being found is in his possession.
A Crime Branch officer said that Yosef’s house was searched following information that drugs were being stored in the house. After an extensive search, 80 grams of charas worth Rs 15,000 was recovered.
The accused was earlier involved in a passport case at Crime Branch. The officer said that the accused has been charged with relevant sections of NDPS Act and taken on remand for police custody.
