Khaunte for timely implementation of e-governance

PANJIM: Revenue Minister Rohan Khaunte asked his department officials to ensure implementation of e-governance within the prescribed time frame with quality output.

PANJIM:  Revenue Minister Rohan Khaunte asked his department officials to ensure implementation of e-governance within the prescribed time frame with quality output.

“As we look at giving better quality output of services to people through e-governance, we also want the staff to be motivated to ensure that delivery of these services takes place within the prescribed time frame,” Khaunte said after inspecting the new Revenue Bhavan at Dharbandora.

“These were routine visits to understand the problems faced by the department and what support is required by the staff, in terms of implementation of e-governance and any other related issues,” he said. During inspections, the Revenue Minister suggested changes where improvements were required and instructed the department to ensure work is completed at the earliest.

Aim to ensure ease of governance and taking governance to the grassroots in every taluka, ‘Revenue Bhavan’, a is being built in Dharbandora. The ‘Revenue Bhavan’ is planned keeping in mind the different offices of the Collector and Deputy Collector. Following the site inspection, Khanute, along with other officials, visited the Mamlatdar’s office in Dharbandora, the deputy collector and Mamlatdar’s office at Ponda.
