Knee replacement surgery performed at Manipal Hospitals

PANJIM: Manipal Hospitals performed a total knee replacement surgery to give new lease of life to 42-year-old patient. The patient was suffering from rheumatoid arthritis with worn out Knees and was on wheelchair for past six years. Dr Rohan Dessai, specialist joint replacement surgeon and team successfully performed a bilateral knee replacement surgery, at Manipal Hospitals, Dona Paula. Patient had tried various which include Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Allopathy but with no respite. She was ultimately confined to the wheelchair for the last 2 years with crippling knee arthritis.
