MARGAO: Congress’ Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco has alleged that in the guise of developing Goa, the BJP is destroying Goa.

He charged saying that the MPT coal hub, road widening, nationalisation of rivers and other projects in Goa are scams of the BJP Government. 

He accused the Goa Government of planning to destroy Goen and Goenkarponn by getting the highway broadened, MPT Road from Verna to Belgaum, river nationalisation and rail track broadened. 

"In the guise of developing, the BJP is destroying Goa. A simple example is the sponge iron plant,” he alleged.
