PANJIM: The Panjim police on Friday arrested Shankar Salam, 45, a member of the ‘Trichy Gang’, in a car breaking theft at Patto-Panjim.
Police said that the window of a luxury car belonging to an advocate, parked outside Ambrosia building at Patto was broken into, and a laptoop and iPad were stolen, a month ago. A team was sent to Tiruchirapalli in Tamil Nadu and the accused was nabbed with the help of local police. The laptop and bag were recovered and the police are on the lookout of his accomplice.
