PONDA: Revenue Minister Jennifer Monserrate on Wednesday assured to expedite the tenancy and mundkar cases in Ponda.

Accompanied by Ponda MLA Ravi Naik, the minister inspected the Ponda administrative offices where she made the assurance. 

She also assured to shift the Citizens Service Centre, within 15 days, back to the building housing the offices of Mamlatdar and Deputy Collector at Tisk. The decision was taken as the citizens were complaining of lot of hardship after this office was shifted to KTC bus stand.

The minister also said that she would simplify the process of partition, mutation and conversion through amendments to existing laws, as currently these processes are “tedious.” 

She also assured the citizens visiting the government offices to provide with proper sitting arrangement and toilet facilities etc. She also assured to repair and maintain the government buildings.
