BICHOLIM: Four minor Bihari children from Bicholim town who were missing from their residence since Monday were found at Mapusa, on Tuesday.
According to Bicholim Police, on Monday evening, four Bihari minor children, including two girls and two boys along with one major Bihari youth, all from Shantaramnagar Bordem Bicholim had gone to the Tillari canal area situated at the hills of Bordem, Bicholim. At this time, someone clicked the photograph of these four children on mobile and showed it to their parents. The children were reportedly frightened and disappeared from that spot and went missing.
A police complaint was registered after the search proved futile.
Following the complaint, on Tuesday with the help of mobiles they traced their location at Mapusa.
All the children were handed over to their parents, on Tuesday. However, a Bihari youth who was suspected to be involved in the kidnapping is absconding.
Meanwhile, police have filed an offence against the Bihari youth.
