VASCO: Mormugao Taluka BJP mandals on Thursday slammed AAP National leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s promises on job creation in the State. BJP Mandal presidents from Mormugao Taluka advised Kejriwal to first handle Delhi properly and then come down to Goa.

Addressing a press conference, Mormugao BJP Mandal President Sanjay Satardekar said that few days back Kejriwal came down to Goa and started making big promises. Our State government is capable enough to bring development what Goa’s people want. We do not need Delhi politician to come here and fool people. Everyone knows what is happening in Delhi.

Satardekar claimed that some of the schemes which were implemented successfully in Goa by BJP are being copied by the AAP.

Dabolim BJP Mandal President Sandeep Sood said that Goa’s financial condition is not so sound because of recent COVID-19 pandemic and the mining closure which was revenue generating source. Despite of all these hurdles, Dr Pramod Sawant-led BJP government has continued to give welfare schemes.

Further commenting on the job creation issue, Sood said although Kejriwal has promised about jobs but failed to produce any blueprint of how he will create jobs. The BJP has a blueprint to create jobs.

Vasco BJP Mandal President Deepak Naik said, “Kejriwal should first mend his own Delhi and then should come to Goa and tell Goans. He had promised in Delhi that he will create jobs and now he is making promise that around one lakh jobs will be created in Goa.”

Naik said that Kejriwal has generated around 400 jobs in few years in Delhi whereas Dr Pramod Sawant has generated around 6,507 jobs in Goa in one year.

Naik also raised objections on Goa being referred as prostitution hub by Kejriwal. He also questioned about the funds which the AAP is using to distribute the food essentials bag to the people.

Cortalim BJP Mandal President Narayan Naik said that elections are at the corners, several political parties are coming up with several bloomy promises to the people. In 2015, in his manifesto, the AAP had promised to generate around 8 lakhs jobs in Delhi, what happened to that promise, Kejriwal should tell about this. BJP is the only party who has fulfilled the promises given to the people. Wherever there is a government of BJP, people in those areas are satisfied with the party’s functioning. People this time also will vote BJP to power.
