NCP Goa chief meets  Sr leaders on alliance

VASCO: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Goa President Jose Philip D’Souza along with Youth leader Pritam Naik and others met national leaders in Mumbai and had a discussion on alliance formation for upcoming Assembly elections in the State.

On Friday morning, D'Souza along with youth leader flew to Mumbai to meet and discuss about the political development in Goa with their national senior leaders Sharad Pawar and Praful Patel.

Later, when contacted, the NCP Goa president said that they met their senior party leaders and had a fruitful discussion about whether to form an alliance for upcoming 2022 Assembly elections. 

D'Souza said that alike his thinking, senior leaders are also in favour of forming alliance for the Assembly elections. 

“Now like-minded parties should also agree and come forward to form an alliance only then alliance is possible,” D’Souza added.
