PANJIM: Goa State President of National Students Union of India (NSUI) Naushad Chowdhari along with others submitted a complaint to Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai against the failure of Goa University to declare the results of Under Graduate and Post Graduate students.

They also demanded that strict action be initiated against Goa University for delaying the examination results.

“This is not the first time. The university delays the announcement of exam results for every semester,” Chowdhari stated.

“Goa University is playing with career and future of students. Despite the final year examination, the results of about 10,000 students, including Graduate and Post-Graduate students have not been declared by Goa University,” Chowdhari added.

While warning that the NSUI will besiege the vice-chancellor on August 19 if the result is not announced on the convened date, Naushad said that Goa University has conveyed that the results will be declared on Aug 5 and postponed to Aug 18.
