MARGAO: Nagoa Comunidade elected its new managing committee for the next three years while there was no quorum at Vanelim and Orlim Comunidades where elections were also scheduled.

At Nagoa, Ozric Cabral was elected as president, while John Philip Pereira was elected as Attorney and Radig John Pereira was elected as Treasurer.

Agnelo Constancio da Carmo da Rocha Machado was elected as substitute president, while Candith J S Castello was elected as substitute attorney and Santano Furtano Menezes was elected as substitute treasurer.

Earlier, a little more than half a dozen comunidades elected managing committees, while others postponed the election for want of quorum. The managing committees are elected for a three-year term.
