MARGAO: Following a request from the Government of Goa, the Ministry of Railways has decided to curtail the halt of the special trains passing through Goa.
The Netravathi Express which was to start from Karmali and Canacona on June 7 has been curtailed till further notice.
The Netravathi Express will now only stop at Thivim in North Goa and Madgaon in South Goa.
Meanwhile, due to the rise of COVID cases in Vasco the state govt has decided to halt the Goa Express train in Margao instead of Vasco. All passengers including those from Vasco will now have to board the train at Margao.
