PANJIM: New COVID-19 cases in Goa are still over 600 a day, while mortalities were four on Wednesday.
While 2066 samples were tested, 628 new cases were recorded and there were four deaths, with 351 new recoveries also reported. The deaths now stand at 319.
The State now has 26,139 confirmed cases while active cases are 5375.
The four deaths included a 47-year-old man from Kumbharjua, a 76-year-old woman from Kumbharjua, a 74-year-old man from Zuarinagar and a 79-year-old man from Panjim. Three of the four dead had co-morbidities, the bulletin said.
