PONDA: Rachat Ramchandra Satarkar, 21, a resident of Talewada Adcolna, Banastarim, lost his life in a self-accident at Arla Queri-Ponda. The incident occurred when he lost control of his bike and collided with a roadside electricity pole. The accident took place early in the morning at around 3 am.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the police dispatched a 108 vehicle to the scene, where Satarkar was pronounced dead. Investigations by the Mardol Police revealed that he was riding his scooter from Margao to his relatives' house at Arla Queri when the accident occurred near Apteshwar Nagar. He sustained severe head injuries as a result of the collision with the electricity pole. Satarkar had recently completed his PC (Police Constable) training at PTS Valpoi in April.
