MAPUSA: 16 year-old Kartik Ramji, resident of Vaidongar, Parcem, succumbed to accidental injuries while undergoing treatment at Goa medical college and Hospital, Bambolim, on Monday. 

According to Anjuna police, the deceased had met with an accident on January 8, near housing board colony on Marna-Siolim slope after the two bikes collided head-on. 

Nishant Govekar, resident of Tuem along with pillion rider Kartik Ramji were proceeding from housing board colony towards Siolim when another bike rider Krishna Palyekar who was coming from the opposite direction collided against them. Due to head-on collision, Nishant, Kartik and Krishna had suffered major injuries.

Police informed that Kartik succumbed to the injuries on Monday while undergoing treatment at Goa Medical College and Hospital while Krishna continues to undergo treatment. Nishant has been discharged. 

Anjuna police have registered an accident case.
