PANJIM: The new Academic Year 2020-21 for general stream degree programmes in Goa University affiliated colleges will begin online from Tuesday.
The commencement of academic term, which is usually in July, was delayed owing to COVID-19 pandemic. The education institutions in the State are shut since mid-March.
As per Goa University calendar, the first term of new academic year will be from September 1 to November 30 while examination for first term will be held between December 4 and 23.
However, there will be no winter vacation, which usually coincides with Diwali festival. The Christmas break will be from December 24 to January 2.
The second term will commence from January 4, 2021 to May 13, 2021. Exams for the term will be held between May 3, 2021 and June 19, 2021.
